September has come and gone and it’s time for our monthly update. To start, I wanted to reflect on our progress. As of October 1st we have:
- Engaged 47 youth in 3 provinces and 1 territory
- Encouraged and supported the youth in gaining 803 hours of volunteer service
- Supported youth in securing $6500 of funding through the #RisingYouth grant
- Co-created 7 community-specific resources to support

We can’t believe the summer is finally winding down, it has been a whirlwind at the mindyourmind office! We’re currently finishing up with our Windsor group, and are looking forward to putting the final touches on their mental health workbook, Border Town, and planning their launch event. This month we want to feature our most recent partner, the Mental Health Outreach workers through the Nunavut Department of Health. These workers connect with individuals and families throughout the community in order to promote cultural traditions and knowledge, enhance mental wellbeing, and connect people with appropriate services. This month we want to feature our third partner, Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare (HDGH). HDGH is based out of Windsor, Ontario.
