CSC Adventures: January 2020

The new year arrived with fresh intentions and excitement to put the final pieces together on all of our original projects! We can’t believe that we are in the final three months of the initial pilot project of the Youth Services Initiative. We are so pleased that the good work the national partners are doing across Canada will continue into the next year. It has been such an amazing experience and process for mindyourmind to be involved with and we have worked with so many incredible young people from across the whole country.

As you may remember, we wrapped up with our Windsor group last month, and we are still hearing wonderful things about the Bordertown journal book, and more copies are being ordered! Great news that this resource is so meaningful to the Windsor community.

Our Arviat, NU resource booklet, Nuna, is in its final stages of review; we are so thrilled to be this close to putting together the booklet. It is unlike anything we have done; you will want to take a look! Our friends in Winnipeg, MB have been helping us finalize the game questions and we are beginning to create it on our end! The motivational poster series is underway as we create first drafts; we will be having a couple more webinars to firm up the look and then get to printing them.

As always stay tuned for more exciting updates; the new year sees us making more trips and working with more youth across Canada!! Keep your eyes posted for an opportunity to be involved with this project as we will be creating an online component. If you want to be the first to know about new developments, sign up for our newsletter, mindBYTES or follow us on your social media channels.
