The mindyourmind team and the youth teams have been hard at work!
The Squamish team is working towards hosting a health fair with Sea to Sky Community Services. They are hoping to put on a leadership conference in their community, where they will present the newly developed resources. The team wanted to promote the MIND eLearning resource and the MIND Game in the context of a leadership conference so that student leaders would have the tools to help their friends.
The Halifax youth team has been working alongside our graphic designers to take their vision and turn it into reality. While we are busy working on the videos and workbook, the youth in Halifax are planning their launch event.
Finally, we are very excited to announce that our next project will be in Windsor, Ontario! We are partnering with Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare and will be there from February 8th-10th. If you live in the Windsor area, are between the ages of 15-25 and interested in making a difference in your community please apply!
